Private pay is an "out of pocket" payment option. Egan service area is what determines the flat hourly rate. We do not charge according to what type of care our caregivers provide to the client, or the day and time of the week. Our flat hourly rate allows for the clients plan of care to be adjusted as needed without the extra frustration with payment additions. Egans service area includes the New Orleans/Metro and for a small rate increase some outlying areas. **NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED**

A LTC policy is one of the best ways to financially help cover the cost of care in the home, and it can be a great way to give you a peace of mind as you age or recover. A LTC policy typically reimburses the policyholder or direct to the provider a preselected daily amount to cover the cost of services used to assist with home care.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has a special benefit for VETERANS and SURVIVING SPOUSES who require regular assistance with activities of daily living. The pension can help pay for home care services to assist with activities of daily living. Egan can assists Veterans and surviving spouses in obtaining the Pension with Aid and Attendance benefit with our community partners. We simplify the complex process, and can often help to get care started immediately.
LTPCS program provides help with ADLs for persons who qualify for assistance under the program guidelines. The Office of Aging and Adult Services administers home and community based long-term care services for individuals who are elderly or have disabilities, assisting them to remain in their homes and in the community. The intent of these HCBS programs is to provide services and supports that are not otherwise available and that assist an individual to remain in or return to the community.
The Community Choices Waiver CCW serves seniors and persons with adult onset disabilities as an alternative to nursing facility care. Each recipient is provided a budget based on acuity to create an individual service package. The CCW contains a wide array of services including: support coordination, nursing/skilled therapy assessments and services, home modifications and assistive technologies, personal care, home-delivered meals, monitored in-home caregiving, and caregiver respite.
